i knew i was in fashion obsession trouble when in fifth grade my parents took me cross country skiing, (one very cold winter's day) and i refused to wear a navy blue turtleneck which i despised. needless to say i froze....fashionably. i remember wearing my father's pajamas to school, inside out sweatpants and my first pair of designer jeans; jordache. when i attended interlochen for art/music three summers in a row i guess you could say i was a trouble maker. we had to wear a uniform and mine was all wrong. blue cord knickers. deviantly i unbuttoned them at the knees. a required belt meant to me, weeds i pulled from the ground. blue knee socks to be pulled up to the knee. i pushed mine down. they looked cooler. and the blue button down shirt that was suppossed to be tucked in was halfway out. fashion statement. by the way michael kors high heeled shoes, sandals, clogs are so comfortable that i can walk for miles in them. all the way to canal street and back home to gramercy park. how do they make them that way?
